“Silent Sentinel” Teacher Resources
About the book
Silent Sentinel, the story of a redgum, touches on many themes and questions within the Australian curriculum. As both author and illustrator, I hope that both the text and the images will provoke questions, and be used as a springboard to further discussion on such topics as aboriginal studies, local history, endangered animals, sustainability, community and change.
On this page you will find a number of free resources which may be helpful. I hope to add to this page in the future and would welcome any suggestions.
