From an original acrylic painting, created as an illustration for “Silent Sentinel” and featured on the front cover. A family of tawny frogmouths surveys the view from high in the branches of an old redgum. Where once hills covered in grassy woodland stretched towards the sea in the distance, the city skyline can be seen beyond the encroaching suburbs.
